Plex Media Server est un gestionnaire de fichiers multimédia basé sur Kodi (ex-XMBC) qui permet de copier vos fichiers sur votre serveur et de les partager en ligne ou de les transférer sur d’autres plateformes ou supports. L’application facilite l’importation et le tri de vos fichiers vidéo ou audio, et complète les données relatives à chaque élément en effectuant une recherche et en intégrant les informations à partir de bases de données en ligne comme IMDb ou theTVDb. Un lecteur supportant les vidéos HD, est évidemment intégré. Plex Media Server gère les sous-titres et supporte un grand nombre de codecs.

Plex est gourmand en CPU
